HSK is a globally run standardised test of Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers. Whether to ensure eligibility for scholarships offered by Hanban, to gain an advantage in the job market or a related academic field an HSK pass will serve you. And of course, for many adult learners, an exam is a great motivator for learning!
Our Institute can offer three opportunities to sit the HSK and HSKK exams in 2017. Dates for the exams are
- Saturday 18 March 2017
Registration by 16 February for HSK and HSKK offline exam or 2 March for HSK online exam (Please note no HSKK online exam will be run on 18 March 2017)
- Saturday 20 May 2017
Registration by 20 April for offline exam or 4 May for online exam
- Saturday 2 December 2017
Registration by 2 Nov or offline exam or 16 Nov for online exam

Poster competitions 2016
Theme: Celebrating Chinese New Year of the Rooster
Eligibility: Membership School of UK Federation of Chinese School
Age groups: Junior group: (Age 8 and under);
Intermediate group: (Ages 9 to 13);
Senior group: (Ages 14 to 18)
Design specifications: greeting card (A5 paper only, contestants are permitted to use water colours, pastels drawing); name and age of student, name of school, name of headteacher and headteacher’s contact number must be written on the back of each card entry (in both Chinese and English).
Selection rules: schools can select up to three entries from each age group (maximum of nine entries per school), the selection panel will then select the top three entries from each group. Merit awards will also be rewarded to three entries from each group. .
Prizes: First prize (certificate and prize money of £10)
