Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
Believe you all have had a wonderful mid-term holiday and we will be busy again. I would like to draw your attention to the followings:
- Interest Classes before school hours (10:10am-10:40am)
The school and The Edinburgh Chinese Dance and Cultural Youth Group, registered Charity no.SC023607, organise some interest classes in order to strengthen our students’ interest and the knowledge of Chinese Culture. Time is provisionally arranged for 30 minutes. There are options of the Cantonese or Mandarin classes that we can promote the both languages. Parents are most welcome to participate in with your child as a family activity. Small fee will be charged for the running cost.
-Calligraphy (pencil/pen/Chinese brush)
-Singing (nursery rhymes/ folk songs)
-Chinese idiom
-Reading/Reciting poems and prose
-Chinese Dance (TBC, time and fee will be varied)

Limited stock of various subjects of Used Exam Past papers are sold at low price. If anyone would like to buy or donate your unwanted past papers, please go to staff room. - Free Talk and Activity of “Eyes Protection”
We are working with Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) to organise this activity. Students from aged 5 to 14 will be taken part in. It will be a good opportunity to know the importance of our eyes protection in this digital world.

- 课前兴趣班（上午10:10至10:40）
为了增强学生对中文学习和中国文化的认识，本校与爱丁堡中国舞蹈与文化青年团组合办一系列的兴趣班。时间暂定于半个小时，广东话或普通话可随意选择，我们还可推广双语。非常欢迎家长和同学一起参与，也可当作亲子活动。本校会收取少许费用为营运开支。
– 书法（硬/软笔）
– 唱歌（儿歌/民族歌）
– 成语故事
– 诵读诗赋
– 中国舞蹈（待定，时间及收费不同）
时间：十一月五日至十二月十七日
收费：家长一£15 ; 学生一£10
（请到教职员室接待处付费） - 二手过去SQA考试卷义卖为校筹款
数量有限的各级不同科目的过去考试卷以低价出售。如同学有意购买或捐赠，请到教职员室。 - “眼睛保护”免费讲座及活动
本校将与英国皇家盲人协会（RNlB）合办是次活动，五至十四岁的学生将会参与。
这是一个很好的机会认识在数字世界里对眼睛保护的重要性。
