NOTICE TO PARENTS/ GUARDIANS/ STUDENTS 29/09/2018
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Welcome to the new School Year 2018/19. Hope you all had a lovely summer holiday.
We would like to bring your attention to the following issues:
1. Class time: Saturday 10:00m-12:00pm; Interest class: 11:45/12:00-12:30pm.
Term 1 ：
15/09/2018– 6/10/2018 (4 weeks)
Mid-term holiday: 13 & 20 October
27/10/2018 – 15/12/2018（8 weeks）
Christmas holiday： 22, 29 December 2018, 5 January 2019
Term 2：
12/01/2019 – 09/02/2019 （5 weeks）
Mid-term holiday：16 & 23 February 2019
02/03/2019 – 30/03/2019 （5 weeks）
Easter holiday：6, 13 & 20 April 2019
Term 3：
27/04/2019 – 15/06/2019 （8 weeks）
2. Please remind pupils to bring their stationary to class, e.g. pencil and eraser。
3．Break time: Pupils should stay in the classroom and supervised by their Class Teacher. We
would like to encourage pupils to chat in Chinese with classmates and the teacher during
break time to practice the speaking of Chinese language.
4. Please do not leave young children alone in school if they are not students of the Chinese
school.
5. Please check our school website or speak to teachers for the newly developed Interest
Classes (Kung Fu, Dance, Choir and Chinese Calligraphy). Please encourage your children to
join in. These classes will provide children opportunities to experience Chinese culture. They
may also lead to performance opportunities in the future. Due to the new policy of Drummond
Community High School, our after-school club would have to finish by 12:30 pm.

learning environment for our students. If you have any questions, requests or suggestions,

学和老师用中文交谈，加强中文口语练习。
4．请家长切勿将非上课的年幼子女独自留校，避免发生危险。
5. 请留意兴趣班的最新动向，多鼓励贵子女参加，以加强对中国文化的认识。将来亦
会有在舞台上表演的机会。由于莊民中学的新政策，缩短了校舍使用时间，致兴趣班必
须在12：30结束。
